The VW DQ250, commonly associated with transmission codes including 02E and 0D9, is a 6-speed wet-clutch DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) widely used throughout the Volkswagen Group. Designed to handle greater torque than the dry-clutch DQ200, the DQ250 combines fast gear changes with smooth power delivery and has become one of the most widely used DSG transmissions across Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles.

Typical applications include selected versions of the VW Golf, Golf GTI, Golf R, Passat, Touran, Tiguan, Scirocco and Caddy, along with models such as the Audi A3 and TT, SEAT Leon and Altea, and Škoda Octavia, Superb and Yeti. The DQ250 has been paired with a wide variety of petrol and diesel engines, although exact fitment varies according to model, engine, drivetrain, model year and gearbox code.
